MINI CUP RACING 2008
Dells Raceway- 05/03/08 Season opener got rained out, so the car never left the shop.
Rockford Speedway- 05/17/08 Second race of the season, second rain out of the season. This time at least we got on the track to practice before the rain came.
Grundy Speedway- 5/24/08 Race 3 and we finally got to race! Got top 5 in heat race and top 10 in the feature race.
Dells Race Way Park- 5/31/08 Another good night of racing by Dakota. Got a top 5 in the heat race and a top top 10 in the feature.
Plymouth Speedway- 6/7/08- Good night for MPM Racing! Top 5 in the heat and top 5 in the feature. Best finish of the year so far! Dakota signed autographs for some lucky fans at the track.
Rockford Speedway- 6/14/08 A night of bumping and banging! Top 5 in the heat and top 10 in the feature. Even after an on track accident with no yellow flag!
Dells Raceway Park- 6/28/08- Bad night of racing. After waiting out the rain the car did not finish the feature.
Fourth of July Parade in Carol Stream, IL- 7/4/08 - We had a lot of fun promoting out series!
Rockford Speedway- 7/4/08- After mechanical difficulties in the heat, we had a exciting feature with lots of side by side, three wide for position racing.
Plymouth Speedway- 7/19/08- The pictures below should say it all.
Rockford Speedway - 7/26/08 - We got the car back together just in time for the race. Dakota didn't let the roll over slow him down as he raced to another good finish. He is up to 6th in series points!
Rockford Speedway - 8/9/08 - Last week at Rockford and it was our fastest week. Finished top 10 in the feature. Darrick forgot the camera but the track photographer got this cool picture during qualifing.
Plymouth Speedway - 8/16/08 - Once again Darrick forgot the camera. Several engine problems didn't stop Dakota from getting an 8th place finish in the feature.
Plymouth Speedway - 8/30/08 - A hot day at Plymouth and a hot day on the track as Dakota got into an alteration on the track but he still managed to finish the race on the lead lap.
Dells Raceway Park - 09/13/08 - Another rain out but one step closer for Rookie of the Year!
Madison Speedway - 09/20/08 - Last race of the year clinched us rookie of the year! Had a good time at the track signing autographs and meeting the fans in the morning and had more fun racing at night. Thank to all who came down in the pits after the races to celebrate rookie of the year!
Awards Banquet - 12/6/08 - Had fun at the awards banquet where Dakota was awarded several trophys for a great year of racing!
